The Utah Design Exhibit premiered on the evening of October 20th, 2017 at Clubhouse SLC in conjunction with Salt Lake Design Week. 12 furniture builders displayed their pieces in a gallery setting to a crowd of nearly 200 attendees. Exhibitors included professional builders: Chad Parkinson (The Furniture Joint), Tyler Blaine (Modern Craftsman), Keith Findling and Chris Timm, as well as architecture, design and furniture building students from the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College.

Read MoreUDx 2018 ran from 4 to 10 pm on Friday, October 20th and saw an attendance of nearly 300 people with 12 exhibitors including both students and professionals. Exhibited furniture ranged from Danish settees, Shaker sewing tables, designer floor speakers and objets d’art. I was so pleased to see the variety of designs present at the show and am filled with anticipation to see what we acquire for the 2019 exhibit.
